Brookline beats Milton, 53-47. Warriors sink 7-8 free throws in final 35 seconds to get the win. Brookline placed four players in double digits, led by Jacob Page(14pts), Tre Woodson(12pts), Dante Davis(12pts), and Chris Andrew(10pts).
"We won this game at practice with our work on improving our free throw shooting," said Coach Fiedor. The Warriors had been shooting poorly from the charity strip in the scrimmages and the first game(35% overall), but were 12-14 from the line tonight.
"Lots of mistakes tonight and inconsistant play from players who are veterans. . .but it's a win over a decent team. Better to learn and win. Our better basketball is ahead of us."
